La Academia de Televisión reveló hoy las nominaciones para la 76ª entrega de los premios Emmy. La lista está repleta de sorpresas históricas, nombres aclamados por la crítica y títulos que han esperado con ansias su reconocimiento.
Liderando la contienda se encuentra Shogun de FX, que consiguió un sorprendente total de 25 nominaciones, incluyendo la categoría de mejor serie limitada y nominaciones como mejor actor y actriz principal para sus estrellas Hiroyuki Sanada y Anna Sawai. Éste es un gran año para FX, ya que acumuló un total de 93 nominaciones, impulsado también por la comedia The Bear, que batió récords con 23 nominaciones, la mayor cantidad en la historia de los Emmy para una serie en su primera temporada.
La serie limitada más nominada de HBO fue True Detective: Night Country, con 19 menciones. Por su parte, Saturday Night Live de NBC fue el programa más reconocido de las cadenas tradicionales, con 17 nominaciones.
Apple TV+ también tuvo un año estelar con 70 nominaciones gracias al impulso de The Morning Show (16 nominaciones), la comedia recién llegada Palm Royale (11 nominaciones) y la miniserie Lessons in Chemistry (10 nominaciones).
